Sara Darden, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant based at the Canton location. She first assists Dr. Land, Dr. Gupta, and Dr. Seng in the operating room and provides care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Sara earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Emory University School of Medicine in 2014. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education in Exercise Science and Athletic Training from the University of Georgia. She also obtained a Master of Education in Health Promotions from Auburn University, where she served as an athletic trainer at a local high school through the Kenny Howard Fellowship. Before pursuing her PA degree, she worked as an athletic trainer at Jacksonville State University.

Sara began her PA career in neurosurgery in New Orleans and Chattanooga before returning to her orthopedic and Georgia roots by joining Total Joint Specialists in 2024.

She resides in Ball Ground, Georgia, with her husband and two sons. She enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors with her family and dog, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves, and reading in her free time.
